Remix videos are mostly used for humor and to make fun of whatever the original is. In this video , they are making fun of the "sham wow" commercial and calling it the "jesus christ sponge". The original is just trying to sell a product that is pretty dumb. By making a parody about it , it basically shows the stupidity of the product. The commercial became known because it played on tv way too often and people started making videos making fun of it. I chose this video because I found it funny and I felt the impression it was trying to give off was pretty clear.
ahahahahahahahahahahahaha. I've seen so many versions of this video in a remix. They all pretty much differed in that they were in different dialects like jamaican and trinidadian, but they all did the same thing, made a parody out of the original. I agree that the parody just brings out the stupidity in the original commercial in an entertaining way.
